Refunds and cancellation

Before you pay

Read the sample Company Briefs and the sample Interview Round Prep: they’re the same research and writing you get. For a Company Brief, you check it’s the right job before you pay.

When we refund you

We don’t refund a Company Brief or an Interview Round Prep once it’s ready, or a Job Hunt Pass once it’s bought, except in these cases.

• We can’t make what you paid for. We tell you why, and refund it in full without you asking.
• Something in it is wrong. It’s about the wrong job or company, a part we promised is missing, or a fact is false. Tell us and we put it right, a false fact within 24 hours. If we can’t, we refund you in full.
• An Interview Round Prep is late. If it isn’t ready within an hour, you can ask for a refund instead of waiting: reply to the email we send you. We refund what you paid for it, or ₹600 if its Company Brief has already reached you. A round on a Job Hunt Pass has no price of its own, so a late one isn’t refunded in money. If it’s no use to you, reply to the email we send you and it won’t use one of the 5 on your pass.
• You were charged twice. We refund the extra payment in full, by itself: you don’t need to ask. We email you when the refund starts.

On a Job Hunt Pass, an Interview Round Prep we can’t make doesn’t use one of the 5 on your pass. If we can’t make the Company Brief for a company on your pass, we refund ₹399 for it without you asking, and still make that company’s Interview Round Prep, which uses one of the 5 on your pass. Interview Round Preps you don’t use within the 60 days aren’t refunded.

Cancelling

You can cancel an Interview Round Prep any time before it’s ready. We refund what you paid for it. If its Company Brief has already reached you, you keep the Company Brief and we refund ₹600. If we couldn’t make its Company Brief, you can cancel it within 24 hours of hearing so, whether or not it’s ready, and we refund ₹600. Cancelling a round on a Job Hunt Pass refunds nothing, and the round doesn’t use one of the 5 on your pass.

How to ask

Reply to any email from us, or write to support@thepanelbrief.com from the email you paid with. Tell us what’s wrong, with your receipt’s number if you have it, and we check it against your Company Brief or Interview Round Prep. You never need to ask for a double charge or for something we can’t make: those are refunded by themselves.

When the money arrives

A refund you don’t need to ask for starts at once. One you ask for starts within 2 working days, once we’ve checked it. Razorpay returns it to the UPI, card or bank account you paid from, usually within 5 to 7 working days.

Receipts

Every payment gets a numbered receipt by email. A refund is confirmed by email, naming that receipt.

Write to support@thepanelbrief.com. We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month.
